Argo publishes for dog owners trying to understand one dog over time. We make the source, uncertainty, author, review status, and product boundary visible.
Who creates the guides
The Argo Editorial Team is the accountable publisher for each page. Every indexed guide names its publication and review dates and links back to these standards. We do not imply that a veterinarian, trainer, or behavior professional reviewed a page until that review occurred.
How AI is used
AI may help research, compare source material, structure a page, or create a draft. Before publication, automated quality checks and a separate documented editorial review test the sources, safety, clarity, originality, and search intent. A human publisher authorizes release. AI review is not presented as veterinary, trainer, or other credentialed expertise, and automation is never used to manufacture first-hand experience.
Why a page is published
Each future guide must record two distinct demand signals, one narrow owner question, an original useful asset, and a documented review record before it can become indexable. The first nineteen guides are a frozen pilot cohort awaiting Search Console and engagement evidence; that exception cannot be reused for new pages. Pages are revised, held back, or excluded from search when their evidence or distinct value is not strong enough.
Sources and professional review
Behavior and Care guidance prioritizes veterinary schools, veterinary manuals, recognized animal-welfare bodies, and professional veterinary-behavior organizations. Articles involving medication, vaccination, symptoms, emergencies, or treatment require veterinary review before indexing. Behavior prescriptions require an appropriately qualified humane professional. Low-risk observation, comparison, and record-organization pages may publish after their sources and safety boundaries pass independent editorial review, with the lack of credentialed review stated plainly.
What Argo will not do
Argo does not diagnose health or behavior, guarantee change, choose a treatment, change a dose, or replace a veterinarian or qualified behavior professional. We separate what an owner observed from what it might mean and preserve uncertainty when evidence is incomplete.
Corrections
Material corrections should change the reviewed date and be recorded in the article's editorial history. A source changing is a reason to re-check a page, not to silently update its date. A newer date is never added merely to make an unchanged page appear fresh.
